As your travel advisor, I help you navigate the options, find experiences that suit your travel style and budget, coordinate the details, and provide support throughout the planning process - from our first conversation through your return home.As a TICO-certified travel advisor, I have also completed Ontario's required travel-industry education standards. When your travel is booked through a TICO-registered Ontario travel agency, you benefit from important consumer protections under Ontario's travel industry legislation. While cruises are one of my specialties, I can also help arrange resorts, hotels, tours, flights, transfers, excursions and customized vacation experiences.This is especially helpful when your vacation involves several components, such as a European cruise with flights, hotels and a few days exploring before or after your sailing.

Depending on your trip and the options available, I can help coordinate flights as part of your overall travel arrangements.If you prefer to book your own airfare or use airline points or miles, that's perfectly fine too. We'll simply discuss how your flights fit with the rest of your itinerary.

In many cases, travel suppliers build travel advisor compensation into their pricing, meaning you may pay the same price whether you book independently or work with a travel advisor.Sometimes, working with a travel advisor can provide additional value. Through supplier promotions, preferred partnerships and travel-industry offers, I may have access to special rates, added amenities, onboard credits, upgrades or other perks that aren't always available when booking directly.My goal isn't simply to find the lowest advertised price—it's to help you find the best overall value and the right experience for your trip, while also providing personalized planning and support along the way.When special offers or added-value opportunities are available for your vacation, I'll make sure you know about them.
Payment requirements vary depending on the supplier and type of vacation.Most bookings require a deposit to secure your reservation, followed by a final payment at a later date. I'll clearly explain the deposit amount, payment schedule and applicable terms before you confirm your booking.
Depending on the booking, payments may be processed directly by the applicable travel supplier or through an approved travel-industry payment process.You'll receive clear instructions regarding how and when payments are made for your particular reservation.
This depends on the supplier and booking. Some vacations allow additional payments to be made between the initial deposit and final payment date.If you'd like to make payments along the way, just let me know and I'll explain the options available for your reservation.
Depending on your destination and the type of vacation you’re booking, there may be additional costs that aren’t included in the initial trip price. These can include things such as gratuities, local or city taxes, resort fees, baggage fees, transfers, excursions, onboard purchases, visa or entry fees, and other destination- or supplier-specific charges.Some fees may be included in your vacation package, while others are paid directly at your hotel, resort, cruise ship, airport, or destination.As part of the planning process, I’ll help you understand what is included in your vacation price and what additional expenses you may want to plan for, so you can travel feeling informed and prepared.No surprises - just a clearer picture of what to expect.
Change and cancellation policies vary considerably between cruise lines, resorts, airlines, tour operators and other suppliers.I'll explain the applicable terms before booking and help you navigate the process if your plans change. Any penalties, fees or refunds are ultimately governed by the terms of the applicable travel supplier and your booking.

I strongly recommend that travellers consider appropriate travel insurance to help protect both themselves and their travel investment.Coverage can include things such as trip cancellation or interruption, emergency medical expenses and other unexpected circumstances, depending on the policy selected.I'll provide information about available insurance options so you can make an informed decision about the coverage that's appropriate for you.

In some cases, deposits or other payments may be non-refundable, and cancellation penalties can increase as your travel date approaches.Before you confirm your booking, I’ll make sure you’re provided with the applicable cancellation terms and important conditions so you understand what would happen if your plans change.This is also one of the reasons I recommend considering travel insurance, as certain policies may provide coverage for eligible cancellation expenses when you need to cancel for a covered reason.

Yes. I'll help keep you informed about important milestones associated with your booking, which may include final payment dates, online check-in and the availability of final travel documents.You'll also receive important information as your departure approaches so you're prepared for your trip.
Yes. You'll receive your important trip information and documents before departure, including the details applicable to the travel arrangements I've booked for you. Depending on the supplier, sometimes these won't become available until 15-30 days before your trip.I recommend reviewing everything carefully when you receive it and letting me know immediately if something doesn't look correct.
Travellers are ultimately responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate passports, visas, identification and other documentation required for their trip.I'll help point you toward relevant information and requirements, but entry rules can change and are determined by government authorities.
Absolutely. As your departure approaches, I’ll remind you when online check-in becomes available and provide guidance on how to complete it for your cruise, flight, resort, or other applicable travel arrangements.While some check-in steps may need to be completed directly by you - particularly when they involve passport information, security questions, health declarations, payment details, or acceptance of supplier terms. I’ll be available to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.My goal is to make sure you feel prepared and confident before your journey begins.
The travel documents you’ll need depend on your destination, citizenship, itinerary and type of travel. Requirements may include a valid passport, visas or electronic travel authorizations, government-issued identification, cruise or tour documents, and any other entry or transit documentation required by the countries you’ll be visiting.As a general rule, I recommend that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your scheduled return date, as many destinations have passport-validity requirements. Some countries have different rules, so the specific requirements for your itinerary should always be verified before travel.Ultimately, each traveller is responsible for ensuring they have the correct and valid documentation required for their journey, but I’ll help point you toward the appropriate official resources so you can travel prepared.

From there, I can recommend destinations and travel experiences that align with what you're looking for.Sometimes the perfect trip starts with simply saying, “I want to get away, where should I go?”
